Nevada Opera Theatre’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

Nevada Opera Theatre celebrated their 25th anniversary in style. A beautiful setting for this occasion was at the exquisite new Estate of Barbara and Bruce Woollen.The 20,000 square foot Estate is high up in the hills of Anthem Country Club.Guests parked their cars at the Golf Club and a shuttle bus took them to the Estate.
Upon arriving, guests dressed in elegant attire, marveled about the luxurious premises and enjoyed a hosted Champagne Reception. A silent auction, managed by Janet Ryan, was displayed around the room, viewed and bid upon.

Among the many guests enjoying this wonderful evening were: Anneee and Siegried Nounna, Cindy Dumani, Randy Soard, Margie Conway, Sondra Lynch, Rosita Kanes, Monica Fuller, Nancy Vinnik, Beverly and Mike Mykisen and Former First Lady Governor, Dawn Gibbons.






Afterwards dinner catered by Chef Gustav Mauler was served on the outside patio
that has an amazing view. Sean Carobone, Classical Guitarist, played during dinner.
After dinner, The Nevada Opera Theatre Artists performed in the Estate’s own lovely “Art Deco Theatre.”Although the Theatre is quite large, because of the amount of guests, there were two performances so that there would be comfortable seating for all.
At the lovely Art Deco Theatre, Barbara and Bruce Woollen were introduced.
They congratulated the Nevada Opera Theatre on its 25th anniversary and thanked Eileen Hayes for her timeless efforts to bring great opera to Southern Nevada.


A well-rounded program and artistic performances, interestingly narrated by Pianist Richard Weiss on the Grand Piano, was enjoyed by guests at each of the two performances.The Nevada Opera Theatre Artists were: Antonio Escapes, Tenor, Eric Castro, Baritone, Amber Cronin, Soprano, Michael Elliot, Baritone, John Graffito, Tenor, Dr. Morton Hyson, Bass, Shelley Marines,
Soprano, Alejandro Mendoza, Tenor, Alisa Thomason, Soprano, and Alisa Van Camp, Mezzo Soprano.






At the close of the evening, shuttle buses brought guests back to their cars
at the Golf Club.
Everyone seemed to be on a high after enjoying a wonderful event.
The Nevada Opera has a busy schedule all year round.

A fully staged production of “Aida” at Artemus Ham Concert Hall.
