Dixie Dooley this year is celebrating 30 years of performing in Las Vegas! First performing in Las Vegas in 1978 at the Sahara. But since moving and making his home in Las Vegas in 1985, Dixie has produced five long running shows: "THAT'S MAGIC", "WORLD OF THE UNREAL", "HOUDINI LIVES AGAIN", "HEATWAVE", and "DIXIE DOOLEY-MASTER MYSTIFIER".
Dixie has appeared in hundreds of Vegas production shows, as well as constantly making appearances up and down the strip at corporate events. Dixie has made front-page headlines with his death-defying escapes and his annual Houdini Séance.
For six years Dixie entertained with his close-up magic, VIP's and celebrities as Harrah's magician in residence. Dixie's been featured in magazines, books, and appeared on national television shows like: "DOOR KNOCK DINNERS" on the FOOD NETWORK with chef, Paula Dean, as well as "THE WORLD'S MOST HAUNTED PLACES" on THE HISTORY CHANNEL.
What a lot of people don't know is that Dixie spent over a year of his life touring with his magic show to nearly every corner of the world to entertain and bring support to our U.S. troops stationed away from home! For eight years, before moving to Vegas, Dixie produced and starred in his own weekly television magic show seen in the South East! Dixie's performed everywhere from the Magic Castle in Hollywood to the Magic Circle in London.
