Born Thomas Jones Woodward, June 7, 1940, Pontypridd, Mid-Glamorgan, Wales. Tom Jones began his musical career in 1963 as vocalist in the group Tommy Scott And The Senators.
Jones has been an industry icon for more than four decades. The Welsh star first appeared on the entertainment scene in 1964 with what became one of his signature hits “It’s Not Unusual.” His career also has launched such hits as “What’s New Pussycat,” “She’s a Lady” and “Delilah.” A tireless worker on stage, Jones has made numerous television appearances on ABC, VH-1 and ITV Network in Great Britain.
