CDUSA Presents America's Party Live From Fremont Street Las VegasMove over Times Square! Las Vegas is the new place for New Year’s Eve as DIRECTV’s exclusive live music performance show, CD USA takes over the famous Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas during America’s Party for its live, nationally televised celebration featuring today’s hottest music artists and special celebrity guests. This explosive, four-hour plus celebration will air exclusively on DIRECTV’s channel 101 starting at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT) with a lineup that includes live performances from chart toppers Five for Fighting, All-American Rejects, Smash Mouth, RockStar:SuperNova, OK Go and Chicago.
The live audience at the Fremont Street Experience will be part of one of the biggest private New Year’s Eve parties in the nation. The entire four blocks and 200,000 square feet of the downtown Vegas venue will be gated, with access granted only to those who hold a ticket. Unlike other large public areas such as Times Square, Fremont Street will be replete with outdoor bars and vendors, easy access to casino gambling, numerous restaurants, and other guest-friendly amenities.
Partygoers at the Las Vegas venue will have access to two stages located at either end of the four-block mammoth Viva Vision screen that will feature a simulcast of the band performances as well as eye-catching imagery designed specifically for the CD USA broadcast.

Las Vegas StripAmerica's Party 2007 The fireworks extravaganza on the Las Vegas Strip will ring in 2007 in classic Las Vegas style. The theme of the pyrotechnic display will be "Vegas Royale 2007," featuring the soundtrack from many of James Bonds' greatest adventures, including "Bond Theme 007," "A View to A Kill," "Casino Royale" and "Bond Techno Finale."The intensity of the pyrotechnics will be on display during the five minute, 40 second show that will be fired from seven rooftop locations. Effects such as comets, roman candles and "Souza Bombardos" are all part of the core program and will paint the canvas of the Las Vegas Strip with a multitude of colors. This year's show will feature a creative use of walls of fire and color washes, using the latest new lemons, limes, oranges and purples. The Las Vegas Strip will erupt with flashing effects, glittering comets, crackling burst and a thunderous "Titanium Silver" finale.
About $450,000 worth of fireworks will be shot off frmo 7 hotel rooftops, stretching out over five miles of the Strip. The hotel are The Stratosphere, Circus Circus, TI, The Venetian, Flamingo, Monte Carlo and MGM Grand.
