(Las Vegas, NV) -- For nearly twenty years, the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino located in the center of the fabulous Las Vegas 'Strip,' has been a magnet for automotive hobbyists from around the world, offering a display of hundreds of classic and collector cars and vehicles owned by some of the world's most famous people. Along with automobiles owned by kings, U.S. Presidents, dictators and business tycoons stand some of the world's most desired collector cars.
Teaming together to create The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace are Richie Clyne and Don Williams, two of the most influential people in the hobby of classic, vintage, antique and collector cars. This dynamic duo is the authority on the world's greatest automobiles.
"Our goal is to provide, for the collector, a place to visit in a relaxed atmosphere, to buy, sell or trade some of the most desired vehicles in the world," said Don Williams, CEO of The Auto Collections. "Here, in the heart of Las Vegas, we offer comfortable surroundings and all of our transactions are conducted in a private and discreet manner."
Open to the public daily, The Auto Collections are one of the top tourist stops in Las Vegas. One never knows what they will see when visiting this climate-controlled, year-round, indoor car show. Visitors could see, up close and personal, Marilyn Monroe's 1955 Lincoln Capri convertible, Elvis Presley's 1976 Cadillac Eldorado or Nikita Kruschev's one-of-a-kind Chaika parade phaeton.
For those who prefer the rarest of the premiere classic automobiles, historic cars like a 1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, a wide assortment of legendary Duesenbergs and stately Rolls Royce Phantoms are always found on the floor of The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace.
More than just a tourist attraction, this is a working collection of vehicles where cars on display can be purchased for private collections. A knowledgeable sales staff is on hand daily to answer question regarding the history and background of each vehicle and to assist in processing a sale. Inquires regarding interest in purchasing a car in the Collections, or offering vehicles, for sale should be directed to Rob Williams, general manager, at (702) 794-3174.
The Auto Collections will, also, continue to serve as a host site for car clubs and organizations related to the hobby. Complete banquet, dining, and lodging facilities are available at the 2,700-room Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, which offers special packages for groups making Las Vegas their destination, at (800) 634-6441.
The Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace and its well-stocked gift shop are open to the public daily from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. Located on the fifth floor of the parking structure of the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, admission is just $6.95 for each adult, $3.00 for seniors and children 12 and under, with children under three admitted free.
