Fully renovated shopping destination features seven new stores offering rare finds and
unique-to-Vegas items, right in the heart of the Strip
LAS VEGAS – May 10, 2013 – Caesars Palace, the world-class destination resort and casino in Las Vegas, has announced a new lineup of stores in the newly remodeled Appian Way Shops. Spanning more than 22,000 square feet, the new Appian Way Shops features more than 15 distinctive stores, several of which can only be found right in the heart of Caesars Palace.
One-of-a-kind stores such as Bottlehood, H•O•M•E and Jimmy Crystal have opened their flagship U.S. locations at Appian Way Shops, while brands like King Baby and P!Q are making their Las Vegas debuts. Popular stores such as Optica and Olive & Beauty are also expanding their presence in Vegas with new locations inside the shopping destination. Additional stores which have also undergone renovations include Emperor’s Essentials, Carina, Vittorio, Travel Plus, Colosseum Cigars and Forever Flawless.
Bottlehood
This eco-friendly company repurposes glass beverage bottles and wine barrels, turning them into beautiful glassware, serve ware and jewelry. Through a combined effort with Caesars Entertainment, the company repurposes approximately 260,000 post-consumer bottles each year that would otherwise be going into our nation’s largest landfill. The eco-friendly products include a broad range of glassware including shot glasses, juice glasses, tumblers, vases, light fixtures and jewelry.
H•O•M•E
This one-of-a-kind store brings together an eclectic mix of unique and rare finds sourced from around the globe. Items range from decorative accents, to inspirational pieces, to one-of-a-kind antiques dating back to ancient Chinese dynasties.
Jimmy Crystal
Based in New York City, this fashion-forward jewelry and accessories company has been dazzling the world with one-of-a-kind designs for more than 21 years. Designs include stunning eye-wear, jewelry, handbags, watches and home décor, each incorporating exclusive Swarovski crystal elements. The flagship location at Appian Way Shops will allow shoppers to create custom jewelry designs.
P!Q
P!Q is a brand-new store concept by THE SARUT GROUP, the New York City-based, internationally acclaimed leader in the gift industry. P!Q features unique finds, home accessories, games, children’s products, eclectic brands and more – from stylish duds, to arty books, to nostalgic souvenirs. Guests will be inspired by the colorful atmosphere and the unique selection of P!Q's extraordinary merchandise.
King Baby
Rooted in the freedom of the open road and in the spirit of rock n’ roll, King Baby Studio has launched its first Las Vegas store at Appian Way Shops. The brand, which has a large celebrity following from Taylor Swift, to Howard Stern, is known for its handcrafted sterling silver pieces with elements of precious stones, 18-karat gold, onyx, beads and leather.
Optica
Optica, a boutique by the leading retailer of luxury eyewear, Luxury Optical Holdings, has opened its 15th Las Vegas location at the Appian Way Shops. With an extensive selection of premier luxury brands including Cartier, Chrome Hearts, Prada, Gucci and Dior, the boutique is also home to a large selection of its own exclusive line of eyewear, Morgenthal Frederics. Handcrafted from the finest materials, Morgenthal Frederics’ signature one-of-a-kind buffalo horn frames make up the largest collection of luxury horn frames in the world.
Olive & Beauty
This delicious tasting experience has made its way to Las Vegas Strip. Highlights this year include:

The Forum Shops at Caesars continues to attract an impressive variety of new retailers and brands reaffirming that it is the premiere retail destination in Las Vegas.

- Carmine’s NYC Italian Family Restaurant: The first west coast location of NYC’s legendary family-style Italian eatery Carmine’s brings a 25,000 square-foot, two-level iconic restaurant to The Forum Shops at Caesars. The highly-regarded eatery is famous for its abundant portions served in a festive, warm and attentive atmosphere.
- Kemo Sabe: Luxury western wear retailer brings first store in Las Vegas to The Forum Shops.
- Citta delle Luci: A gift shop like no other, featuring an extensive selection of logo items, exclusive Las Vegas souvenirs and indulgent treats.

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 19, 2013)- What do Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Jerry Seinfeld all have in common besides being among the greatest entertainers in the world? They all grace the stage of the iconic theatre The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as ground-breaking resident artists – forever changing the entertainment landscape in Las Vegas.
In the decade since opening on March 25, 2003 for the premiere of Celine Dion A New Day…, the world-class $95 million venue has hosted more than 1,750 live performances from more than 70 performers for nearly seven million fans; all sitting within 120 feet of the impressive 7,000-square-foot stage. In addition to being the home to award-winning performers (the past and present artists appearing at The Colosseum have a combined 495 Grammy nominations and 126 Grammy awards to their credit), The Colosseum has a notable list of accolades itself, including the Billboard Touring Awards Venue of the Decade in 2010 and eight consecutive Billboard Touring Awards for Top Small Venue.
To mark the 10-year milestone, Celine Dion incorporated a special tribute to The Colosseum in her Saturday, March 16 show. The short video contained taped messages from The Colosseum’s current roster of resident artists Shania Twain, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld and of course Celine herself congratulating The Colosseum on 10 amazing years. The taped messages, combined with photos and videos from unforgettable moments throughout the theatre’s history, made evident the impact the theatre has had not only on music fans across the world, but also on the performers that call the building home.
Earlier in the day on March 16, hundreds of employees of The Colosseum, AEG and Caesars Palace, gathered for a festive afternoon of sharing memories and looking back on fond times. The party was a thank you to staff for their endless support of The Colosseum in reaching the special milestone and was a way for everyone to share in the special day. Since opening in 2003, 62 original employees still call The Colosseum home and all were on hand to mark the anniversary.
Looking to make the celebration continue past March, The Colosseum is commemorating its history by looking to the future. The venue will launch a multi-faceted community partnership in support of Las Vegas Academy (LVA), a public magnet high school dedicated to the performing and visual arts. LVA promotes an interdisciplinary foundation for lifelong learning by motivating, empowering, and challenging students to be academic, artistic, and compassionate individuals.
To kick-off the partnership, The Colosseum, along with resident artist Celine Dion, presented LVA with a check for $40,000. “Music is such a vital part of The Colosseum and in the lives of our residents that there is no better way to celebrate our success than by furthering the music education of the world’s next generation of resident artists,” said John Meglen, president and co-CEO of AEG Live.
The partnership will continue throughout the year, with LVA receiving proceeds from the sale of The Colosseum’s commemorative 10th Anniversary poster, musical and technology equipment donations, and by The Colosseum offering music education clinics and events tailored to the curriculum of LVA students.
As part of the anniversary celebration, a special micro-website will also be launched at www.thecolosseum.com/10years. The website will house Colosseum trivia, a timeline and chronology of the development of the venue and an exclusive contest sponsored by AXS.com, the new ticket source at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
