LAS VEGAS, NV (Tuesday, May 8, 2012) –Aretha Franklin, the undisputed "Queen of Soul" and one of the most influential and important voices in the history of pop music is bringing her distinctive, soulful voice to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Sunday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m. She will be joined by special guest Jonathan Slocumb. The show is jointly presented by Caesars Palace and AEG Live.

(Las Vegas, NV) May 3, 2012 –Latin music superstar Luis Miguel will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a record sixth consecutive year during Las Vegas Mexican Independence Day weekend 2012 Thursday, Sept. 13 – Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. The three night engagement is presented jointly by AEG Live and Caesars Palace.

Historic Pairing to Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Forum Shops at Caesars
and the 65th Anniversary of the Las Vegas New Bureau
When two of Las Vegas’ premier institutions celebrate a milestone anniversary in the same year, it makes sense to commemorate together. In honor of their 20th and 65th anniversaries respectfully, The Forum Shops at Caesars and the Las Vegas New Bureau have combined efforts to create a distinctive and amazing historical photographic exhibit. The one-of-a-kind exhibition chronicles the development of The Forum Shops, the premiere retail center in the world, and showcases countless memorable moments in Las Vegas history captured by the Las Vegas News Bureau’s cameras. The exhibits will be located in three areas of the center, each focusing on a particular phase of The Forum Shops development. The exhibition offers the public a rare peek into the New Bureau’s vaults, and a tour through the ages of The Forum Shops.

Kerry Hallam: Terrace Rhapsody: Lot #910
British contemporary artist, Kerry Hallam, has a self-proclaimed love for 19th century Post-Impressionism. Much like the great French Post-Impressionists, Cezanne and Van Gogh, Hallam turns to the French Riviera and St. Tropez for inspiration in Terrace Rhapsody. Hallam’s use of thick brushstrokes with bright, vivid colors and distortion of figures creates a sense of dynamism and movement.
