LAS VEGAS - April 29, 2012 - His recording accomplishments include 12 Gold records, more than 75 million in record sales, as well as, the most #1 hits by a solo male artist during a 10-year period, according to Billboard magazine. Bobby Vinton will perform at the Eastside Events Center at the Eastside Cannery Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 8:30 p.m.
Bobby Vinton’s songs have withstood the test of time. His hits “Roses Are Red,” “Blue Velvet,” “Mr. Lonely,” and “Melody of Love” are recognized as standards throughout the world. In fact, Polish Americans embraced “Melody of Love” as Poland’s new national anthem, sung by Vinton, who is often referred to as The Polish Prince because of his family’s heritage. It’s been quite a journey for a child born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania whose parents urged him to study music.

First Jackpot Of Multi-Property Linked Pai Gow Progressive
LAS VEGAS - April 16, 2012 - Wow. That’s one way to describe the $260,682 Progressive Pai Gow jackpot won this weekend at the Eastside Cannery.
The player, a frequent Eastside Cannery customer, played a seven card straight flush Saturday night winning the Progressive jackpot prize of $260,682.
Last month, the Cannery Casino and Eastside Cannery Casino linked their Pai Gow Progressive jackpots, offering the largest Progressive jackpot in town at $250,000. The multi-property feature means the jackpot increases in value much faster and will offer larger jackpots in the future. In addition, in 2011, Cannery Casino Resorts (CCR), which owns and operates the Cannery and Eastside Cannery Casinos, partnered with DEQ Systems Corporation (DEQ) to provide a No Commission variation of the game.
