Comedy-magician Mac King’s Contract Extended At Harrah’s Las Vegas through 2015



While celebrating his tenth anniversary, King now looks forward to another five years of laughter and magic at Harrah’s Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – September 14, 2010 – Comedy-magician Mac King and Harrah’s, Las Vegas have agreed to extend their contract for another five years. Currently celebrating his show’s 10th anniversary at Harrah’s, Las Vegas the contract will ensure “The Mac King Comedy Magic Show” through 2015 for a historic 15-year run.

“This is really amazing, Harrah’s has been my home for the last 10 years and I have truly enjoyed every moment,” said King. “To continue making audiences laugh for another five years is incredible.”

Harrah’s, Las Vegas President Rick Mazer added, “We are proud of Mac King’s contributions to Harrah’s, Las Vegas and look forward to sharing his amazing talent and passion for entertaining with our guests for years to come.”

CELEBRATED CHEF KERRY SIMON TO OPEN NEW CASUAL RESTAURANT KGB: KERRY’S GOURMET BURGERS AT HARRAH’S LAS VEGAS

HATS! DRESSES UP THE LAS VEGAS STRIP

Las Vegas, Nev. - Friendship, fun and fabulousness meet in HATS! at Harrah's Las Vegas. This witty stage show chronicles one woman's anxiety over her impending fiftieth birthday and how she chooses to embrace this landmark event with the support of her friends. Already a smash hit with audiences and critics across the country, the 75-minute comedic musical production has been designed with a Las Vegas flair and will hit The Strip on Jan. 12, 2008.

HATS! features seven dynamic and compelling women whose unique approach to celebrating life appeals to audiences of all ages. The show centers around Maryanne and the wild cast of characters who accompany her on her journey toward the dreaded 50. The zany and unpredictable Ruby introduces Maryanne to the outrageous La Contessa Confessa, and the bold and brassy Dutchess DeLovely. The Baroness, a diligent corporate executive, offers her own brand of "real world" wisdom and experience. Maryanne's mother, Lady, is filled with optimism and enthusiasm for her daughter to embrace 50 and is supported by her best friend, the tireless Dame.

THE NEW CAFE AT HARRAH'S LAS VEGAS TO OPEN

LAS VEGAS, May 27, 2005 Café, the new 24-hour restaurant at Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel, opening June 2, 2005, offers a savory variety of dishes in a relaxed contemporary environment, around the clock.

The Café goes beyond the average hotel coffee shop, making it one of Harrah's most popular dining choices. The restaurant offers guests comfort and variety 24 hours a day, seven days a week, whether they are enjoying a midnight snack or a satisfying lunch.

A collaborative design effort by Friedmutter Group and the Harrah's Las Vegas management team, the $4.5 million Café is a Tuscany-style restaurant. The bright, open and airy atmosphere is also warm and inviting. With a palate of cream and taupe finishes, soft woods and splashes of bright mosaic tile work, the Café is sure to be a Harrah's Las Vegas favorite.

Breakfast items range from the lighter fare of fresh fruit or yogurt to heartier items such as a garden fresh eggs benedict or cinnamon raisin French toast.

Lunch features delectable fresh salads like the pear salad with arugula, candied pecans and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette or the Café's famous grilled chicken cobb salad. Other items include the shrimp club sandwich, the blackened prime rib sandwich, the oven baked chicken, eggplant and foccacia sandwich, or a selection of juicy burgers, cooked to order.

A much-loved addition to the Café at Harrah's is the wood burning exhibition oven, which is the focal point of the Café. MING'S TABLE BRINGS BACK ASIAN FUSION TO HARRAH'S LAS VEGAS, IN STYLE

LAS VEGAS, May 25, 2005- Ming's Table, the restaurant formerly known as Asia, will re-opens today, May 25, 2005.

A unique and hip alternative to Cantonese dining, located in a Chinese style bistro setting, Ming's Table fuses similar Chinese, Thai, Szechwan and Japanese delicacies that one would find at Asia but offers up a twist by serving generous portions with a contemporary edge.

Designed by the Friedmutter group, the two million dollar project creates an enticingly modern atmosphere. Ming's Table brings a palate of warm browns and deep reds are surveyed upon entering the 84-person restaurant. The combination of oval lighting fixtures, sleek and simple lighting elements, accented by cherry red tables and mosaic columns create a geometric fantasy.

Original and traditional dishes are important keys to the successful development of a menu; however, it's always important to reinvent our menu to fuse our unique dishes with the updated atmosphere, said Ming's chef Winston Chung, who began his culinary career in Singapore and also plays a large role in planning the restaurant's menu.

The traditional dishes that made Asia the best Asian restaurant in 2004, as voted by the Best of Las Vegas Poll from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, are still available at Ming's Table. The roast duck served crispy along with a rich plum sauce, sizzling beef in a black pepper sauce and spicy Kung pao shrimp and scallops remain local favorites. For the more adventurous and modern of palates, Ming's is serving the honey glazed walnut shrimp for $22, beef with satay sauce for $12.99 and Dan Dan noodles for $11.99.

Also new to the menu are iced teas, which are served in a bowing glass and once extracted from their element serve to sweeten the best of taste buds. For a small price of $3.25 guests may choose from a variety of nine different iced teas, such as mandarin orange, raspberry or desert pear iced tea. Tropical green tea, mountain spring jasmine green tea and ginger twist herbal infusion hot teas may be enjoyed as well for an equally accommodating price. A variety of sakes are served, ranging from $12.50-$23.75.

Located just west of the Harrah's Las Vegas monorail exit, on the Casino floor and next to the Café at Harrah s, Ming's Table is a great opportunity for a business lunch in a modern setting as well as an authentic dinner dining experience.
