It’s time to plan October Halloween and harvest fun, and the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services offers many special events and activities for children and adults. These activities are just a sampling of the many programs available throughout the year. For a full list of classes and activities available, call any of the facilities below or our main office at (702) 229-6297.

Most activities require advance registration. Senior activities require $2 annual membership to
City of Las Vegas Senior Citizen Programs.)
Lunch with Witch Wanda (ages 3-8)
Saturday, October 11, 1 to 3 p.m. Registration closes October 4.

Enjoy Halloween-shaped sandwiches and witches’ brew, play games, paint a pumpkin and have your photo taken with Witch Wanda. Only parent and paid child may attend.
B-O-O Bag Workshop (ages 4-10)

Fee: $20 per family; includes one large pumpkin, carving supplies, cookies and punch.

Haunted Bone Yard Tour (ages 50+)
Tuesday, October 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance registration required.
Fee: $2 transportation fee, $3 entrance fee, plus lunch cost.

We’ll search the valley for all the haunted spots, then conclude the spooky adventure by walking through the Neon Museum’s historic marquee signs.
