Ticket & Dinner Starting at $69 per person

LAS VEGAS - November 20, 2011 - Make your New Year’s Eve a memorable one at the Cannery Casino. On December 31, 2011 Little Anthony and the Imperials will perform their most memorable songs starting at 10:30 p.m. You won’t miss a moment of the New Year’s Eve excitement as Little Anthony and the Imperials will be counting down the last moments of 2011 and welcoming 2012 complete with party hats and noisemakers.

Concertgoers can make the evening even more memorable by enjoying a specially priced dinner prior to the concert. The Cannery is offering a concert ticket combined with a Gourmet Buffet for $69.95 or a concert ticket and a four-course dinner at Waverly’s Steak House or Vino’s Ristorante for $89.95.

“Tears On My Pillow” was the first single for Little Anthony and the Imperials and one of the biggest hits in 1958. The song reached #2 on the R&B chart and #4 on the Pop chart and was followed with “Shimmy, Shimmy, Ko-Ko Bop.”

The group gained even greater success in the 1960s and 1970s with such well-known hits “Goin’ Out Of My Head,” “Hurt So Bad,” “I’m On The Outside (Looking In),” “Take Me Back,” ‘I Miss You So,” “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind” and “I’m Falling In Love With You.” In all, the group would place 21 singles on the Pop or R&B charts in three different decades.

As happens with many groups, some of the members left in the 1970s only to be officially reunited in 1992 as part of an “oldies” concert billing at Madison Square Garden. Little Anthony and The Imperials are inductees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as well as recipients of the Pioneer Award from the Rhythm and Blues Foundation.

Tickets for the 10:30 p.m. performance are $49.95 plus tax and available 24 hours a day at www.cannerycasino.com. Tickets are also available by calling (702) 507-5757 or in person at the Cannery box office.
