Most activities require advance registration. Register today to build your healthy lifestyle! All centers and pools will be closed Jan. 1-2 and 16.
Spring Youth Flag Football League (ages 6-14 years)
Registration starts Tuesday, Jan. 3. League play will be Saturdays, March 10-May 26.
Cost: $75 per person, includes jersey, award, practices, coaching and all games.

Doolittle’s Annual Competitive Basketball League (grades 2-11)
League play begins Jan. 9, 2012. Registration is open through Jan. 3.
Cost: $250 per team, plus referee fees per game ($14-$19 per game, depending on division).

Scheduled payments will be accepted, but all league registration fees must be paid prior to the start of league play. All participants must provide a completed waiver, current 2011-2012 school year report card and current school identification. Contact Archie Reese at 229-6374 for more information.
Coed Recreational 6 v 6 Volleyball League (adults)
Wednesdays, 6 to 9 p.m., Jan. 11 to Feb. 15.
Cost: $100 per team. Team registration only. Registration opens Dec. 14.

Two matches are played each night. A tournament will be played at the end of the league with all volleyball participants. All team captains will receive a captain’s packet at time of registration with rules, schedules, and rosters. Rosters must be completed by the second week of play. Dula volleyball emphasizes fun recreational play, with good sportsmanship and friendly active play. Maximum of six teams per league.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Fest (all ages)
Monday, Jan. 16, 2 to 6 p.m.
Free admission and activities.
Edmond Town Center, H Street and Owens Avenue.
Enjoy a free community gathering that will include food and cultural vendors, car, truck and motorcycle shows, a chili cook-off and entertainment and activities for the entire family. Vendors, car owners and chili cookers interested in participating in the event should visit the Dream Fest Web page at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/mlkdreamfest to print out an application form. The Web page also has details on where the form can be mailed and how to pay any associated fees. Forms and payments must be turned in to the address listed on the applications by Dec. 21, 2011. Volunteers are needed to assist with the event, including set up and break down. Those interested in volunteering can contact Councilman Ricki Y. Barlow’s office at (702) 229-5443. The Dream Fest is a part of the annual King Week festivities.
