AWARD-WINNING "LEGENDS IN CONCERT" AT IMPERIAL PALACE HOTEL AND CASINO

Details

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- "Legends in Concert," appearing at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino, is one of the most
creatively exciting shows to hit the Las Vegas Strip in a long time.

Featuring unbelievable, live re-creations of superstars of yesterday and today and backed by a live, on-stage orchestra,
"Legends in Concert" is one of the few productions in Las Vegas to complete an entertainment "grand slam." Since its
debut at the Imperial Palace on May 5, 1983, it has earned "Show of the Year" and "Entertainers of the Year" awards,
plus was named "Show of Shows" by the International Press Association.

In mid-1989, "Legends" received more acclaim by becoming the first Las Vegas show to appear on Broadway. Also, a
movie, "It's Only Make Believe," centered around the show.

But "Legends" gained international stature in November, 1991, when it became the first Las Vegas show to tour the
Russian cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Riga. The live re-creations of such greats as Elvis Presley, Marilyn
Monroe, Liberace, Buddy Holly, Bobby Darin, Roy Orbison, the Blues Brothers and many more, appeal to music fans
of all ages.

Producer-Director John Stuart, in late 1989, injected more pizzazz to "Legends" by also paying tribute to the
superstars of today with re-creators of Neil Diamond, Paul McCartney, Cher, Madonna, Tom Jones and Barbara
Streisand to name just a few.

Stuart says it isn't nostalgia that makes "Legends in Concert" a solid hit.

"Yes, we re-create the looks and sounds of those stars, but we go further and re-create their talent and charisma for a
new generation of fans," Stuart explained. All this becomes possible with an extravagant display of multi-media special
effects that transform the 850-seat Imperial Theatre into an exciting arena of entertainment.

A Krypton red laser and projection system creates dazzling effects of patterns and light beams that mystify the
audience.

"The Key to success is pleasing the public with creative adaptability," he said. "Find out what Keeps them excited and
give it to them. Packaging it with energy, beauty and a theme allows the audience to identify it with themselves."

Stuart's formula is surely a success because audiences have discovered that seeing "Legends in Concert" once is not
enough.

Cast members are rotated on a regular basis, making each show a new experience and even more appealing.

From rock 'n' roll to ballads, the music of the superstars of yesterday and today, through their re-creators, makes
"Legends in Concert" a must-see show in Las Vegas.

"Legends in Concert" appears twice nightly at the Imperial Palace, with cocktail shows at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., except
on Sundays. For reservations, call (800) 351-7400, press 5.
