Las Vegas, NV--Red, White and Boom, Las Vegas' only outdoor popular music festival celebrating Independence Day, expands to two days this year. Wayne Jefferies and Clark County Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce the 12th annual Red White and Boom Festival on July 3 and 4, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Desert Breeze Park, 8275 Spring Mountain Road.
Tickets go on sale May 30 at all Ticketmaster outlets. Admission is $17.50 per day in advance, $22 day of, and a special $30 two-day pass, available in advance only. Tickets can be purchased online at www.redwhitenboom.com.
This year's festival boasts an expanded lineup of big-name contemporary rock and pop acts, as well as a carnival, games and exhibitions, food and beverage vendors, and a 20-minute fireworks show on the 4th.
The July 3 features Social Distortion, Flogging Molly, Seether, Saving Jane and local opener Fletch. The July 4 bill includes Train, Blue October, Ne-Yo, Colin Hay of Men at Work, Jacks Mannequin, and local band Away Station.
A limited number of two-day VIP passes are available for $150 each. They include special seating and parking, an air-conditioned area, free food and drinks and discounted alcoholic beverages through out the day. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Two-for-one coupons are available wherever Miller beer is sold.
