Las Vegas—Coyote Country and the Orleans Arena are teaming up to bring the inaugural Coyote CountryFest—featuring Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, Love and Theft, Bomshel and Chris Young—to the Orleans Arena August 29, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Over the years, Tracy Lawrence has received widespread recognition and numerous accolades for his outstanding vocal talent. Lawrence was named Billboard's Top New Male Vocalist in 1992, and claimed the coveted Academy of Country Music's Top New Male Vocalist spot just a year later. Lawrence was also named the Country Weekly Golden Pick Awards' Video Artist of the Year in 1995 and earned its Editor's Choice Platinum Pick crown in 1996, for songs such as “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” “Paint Me A Birmingham” and “Lessons Learned.”

Tracy Byrd's hits are well known among legions of country music fans and routinely spun by radio programmers from coast to coast. Since signing his first record deal in 1992, Byrd has become one of country music's core artists, a Texas-born traditionalist equally skilled at serving up playful hits such as "Watermelon Crawl" and "The Truth About Men." He’s also known for poignant ballads such as his signature song "Keeper of the Stars," which netted the Academy of Country Music's Song of the Year accolade in 1996.

Love and Theft, a new band out of Nashville, consists of three incredibly talented singer/songwriters. Their debut single “Runway” is gaining popularity on radio stations across America. Bomshel, musical duo and best friends Kelley Shepard and Kristy Osmonson, will release their debut album “Fight Like a Girl” later this year. Recently joining the lineup is Chris Young, whose self-titled debut album made him country music’s best-selling new male artist of 2006.

Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission and $35 for reserved seating, inclusive of taxes and fees. Tickets can be purchased at all Coast Casino Box Offices, by calling 702.284.7777 or by visiting www.orleansarena.com.
