LAS VEGAS - Hawaii's greatest export isn't the macadamia nut, it's the Society of Seven, a group of singing impressionists that has wowed audiences for three decades with its dazzling blend of blues, ballads, comedy and impersonations.
Starting Sept. 4, Hawaii's favorite sons will energize the stage of The NightClub - Center Stage at the Las Vegas Hilton six nights a week at 8:00 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale for $27 and may be purchased at the Box Office, or by calling (702) 732-5755, or toll-free (800) 222-5361.
Society of Seven isn't just a group, it's a tradition that dates back to the late 60s with more than 100 different shows and thousands of sold-out performances at the world-famous Outrigger Hotel in Waikiki. Together, the members play every instrument in sight - horns, keyboards, guitars, the works. Each multi-talented member contributes his own special genius to the ensemble, resulting in an explosion of musical energy that has captured the hearts of the millions of people who have seen this dynamic group over the years.
To say Society of Seven is just another singing impressionist show that's come to town doesn't do the group justice. No other show combines singing, comedy, impressions and musicianship like Society of Seven. Each member is equally adept. Whether it's a tribute to The Beatles, a take off on Miss Piggy, Bert and Ernie and Cookie Monster, or the group using voices as instruments while scat singing the theme to Hawaii Five-O, Society of Seven doesn't miss a beat, literally and figuratively.
Society of Seven will appear nightly (dark Monday) in the Las Vegas Hilton NightClub - Center Stage Sept. 4 through Dec. 2 with shows each night at 8:00 p.m. Due to the worldwide popularity of Society of Seven, the Las Vegas Hilton is offering advance tickets sales by calling the Box Office at (702) 732-5755, or toll-free (800) 222-5361.
