LAS VEGAS, NEV. -- The ninth annual Vegas Ventriloquist Festival will feature the legendary Smothers Brothers presenting Las Vegas headliner Ronn Lucas with the Askins Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday, April 24.
The award, which honors performers who have made an "outstanding contribution to the ventriloquial art," will be presented to Lucas at the festival at the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino at 7 p.m., at the beginning of the annual gala, Ventastic 2005. The gala is the closing show for the annual festival.
