Originally formed in 2001, the Nathan Tanouye Sextet made its debut on the CD entitled "Coming Home," featuring the music of Nathan Tanouye. Over the years, this group of skilled musicians has performed at several local venues for enthusiastic crowds. The latest incarnation of this band features Rebecca Ramsey on violin, Marc Solis on saxophone and Dave Loeb on piano.

Tanouye was born in Platteville, Wisc., in 1974. He studied piano and trombone as a youth. In 1995, Tanouye earned a musical scholarship from UNLV, where he completed his degrees in both classical and jazz performance. Since 1998, he has been principal trombonist in the Las Vegas Philharmonic. He also performs in shows on the Las Vegas Strip and has worked on several CD projects.
