Fremont visitors love the month of December as it's the time that the casino floor comes alive with the exciting sound of cash swirling around...$25,000 worth! The "big bucks blast" machine dominates the area right in front of the table games from December 2nd-24th. Drawings will be held at 7:15pm and 9:15pm nightly.

Fremont players earn drawing tickets playing their favorite slot machines, table games, keno and even wagers at the race and sports book. Lucky drawing winners have a chance, twice nightly, to enter the machine which blasts cash and reach out to grab their share of the flying bills; $100s, $20s, $10s, $5s and $1s... whirling all around them. LAS VEGAS, NV -- JANUARY 26, 2002 -- For the third time in less than six weeks, a Boyd Gaming Downtown casino has produced a million-dollar winner.

Peggy Beels of Ontario, California won $1.2 million on The Addams Family(TM) Reel Saturday afternoon at the Fremont Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas.

Beels, who had invested about $100 on the nickel IGT game, walked away with a check for the full amount. The first thing Beels said she was going to do was to pay off her bills and take a cruise.

The win was the third million-plus slot jackpot at a Boyd Gaming casino in about six weeks. On January 10, Hideko Sakamoto of Aiea, HI, won $3,677,071.12 playing a 25-cent "Wheel of Fortune" game at the California Hotel & Casino. On December 12, David T. Tukunaga of Honolulu, also playing at the California Hotel & Casino grabbed a $2.5 million jackpot playing a $1 "Wheel of Fortune" slot machine.

In addition, on June 4, Alex Aris of Ewa Beach, Hawaii won $1 playing Keno at the Fremont Hotel & Casino.
