Las Vegas, Nev. - Bobby Ray Harris, executive vice president & general manager of the Plaza Hotel & Casino, is pleased to announce a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with Producers Dick Feeney and Sandy Hackett for their Rack Pack is Back! show. The only Las Vegas based show with national touring productions and an award from the "Congress of the United States," the Rat Pack is Back! will debut at the Plaza Showroom Saturday, March 1.
Boasting the only remaining live big band in Las Vegas, the show features the Lon Bronson Orchestra and recreates a nostalgic return to the Sands Hotel's Copa Room with Entertainment Legends Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Comedian Joey Bishop. The Rat Pack is Back! will perform at 7:30 p.m. nightly except Sunday with an additional show on Saturday at 10 p.m. Dinner options are also available at 5:30 p.m. nightly including seating inside the showroom. Tickets start from just $49.00 plus tax and fees for general show admission and from $59.99 plus tax and fees to include dinner. Premium packages with VIP seating, dinner, and a complimentary T-shirt or CD are also available.
"We're very excited about bringing the show downtown," said Feeney. "The theatre is one of only a few retro style showrooms left in Las Vegas, and a perfect fit for 1960s themed show. With that same tradition, we will have real Maitre'D seating, cocktail service, booth seating and dinner in the showroom for an authentic old-style Vegas experience no one else in Las Vegas offers."
On October 1, 2007, Feeney and Harris brought Vegas' longest running afternoon show - Viva Las Vegas to the Plaza. Now with the addition of the Rat Pack is Back and the newly opened Aqua Lounge hosting free, live lounge acts, makes the Plaza the "Entertainment Capital of Downtown Las Vegas."
