Las Vegas—Actor and comedian David Brenner brings his hilarious take on news of the day to the Suncoast Showroom, June 9 and 10.

Brenner has made 158 appearances on “The Tonight Show” over the course of his career, making him the most frequent guest in the show’s history. Known for basing his routine on current events, Brenner is a popular TV political pundit, with regular appearances on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News.

Prior to stepping on stage, Brenner wrote, produced and directed 115 television documentaries, which earned him nearly 30 awards, including an Emmy®. He’s authored numerous books, including “I Think There’s a Terrorist in My Soup” and the best-seller “Soft Pretzels With Mustard.”

R&B Hit Makers The Manhattans Return to the Suncoast Showroom June 16-17

Las Vegas—Legendary R&B group The Manhattans will bring their doo-wop and soulful sounds to the Suncoast Showroom, June 16 and 17.

Named after the cocktail of whiskey, vermouth and bitters, The Manhattans formed in the early ‘60s. Their first hit on the Billboard charts was the 1964 song, “I Wanna Be (Your Everything),” the first of eight singles for the group, nearly all in the Top 30.

The group rose to prominence in 1972 with the release of “One Life to Live,” which went to No. 3 on the US R&B charts. A follow up single, “There’s No Me Without You” also topped at No. 3 on the charts. In the mid-‘70s, The Manhattans achieved top 10 success again with “Don’t Take Your Love” and “Hurt.”

Las Vegas—Recreating the music, feel and excitement of the birth of rock ‘n’ roll, Bill Haley, Jr. & The Comets will perform at the Suncoast Showroom May 19 and 20.

Reviving the look and sound made famous by his father -- Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame member Bill Haley -- Bill Haley, Jr. recaptures the heyday and carries on the tradition his father started in the 1950s.

The original Bill Haley & The Comets scored their first hit with “Crazy Man, Crazy” in 1953 and reached stardom with their follow-up, “Rock Around The Clock.” The single sold an estimated 25 million copies and spent eight weeks atop the Billboard chart. The song was ranked No. 158 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

Las Vegas—Comedian Tom Dreesen brings his one-man show, “An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra,” to the Suncoast Showroom May 26 and 27.

Dreesen toured the United States for 13 years as the opening act for Frank Sinatra and shares his experiences from the tour in “An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra.” The show is also a retrospective of Dreesen’s life as a stand-up comedian.
