Most activities require advance registration. Centers are closed July 5.

Swimming Pools Open For Summer Season (all ages)
Monday-Saturday, through Aug. 14, noon to 5 p.m., Doolittle Pool, 1950 N. J St.
Monday-Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., and Monday-Friday, 7 to 9 p.m., through Aug. 15; Carlos L. Martinez and Darrio J. Hall Family Pool at Freedom Park, 889 N. Pecos Road.
Monday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., through Aug. 14, Baker Pool, 1100 E. St. Louis Ave.
Monday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m., through Aug. 14, Garside Pool, 300 S. Torrey Pines Drive.
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, noon to 6 p.m., through Sept. 6; Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road.
Daily fees: $1 for ages 4-17; $2 for ages 18-49; $1.50 for ages 50+; and free for ages 0-3.
All-summer pool passes valid through Labor Day: $40 individual, $60 for a family of up to 8 people, and $30 for an adult age 50+.
Each pool offers private, semi-private and small group swimming lessons. Private lessons are $100, semi-private lessons (two-three students) are $50, and group lessons (four or more students) are $25, for six 45-minute lessons. Each pool also offers novice competitive swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo teams for ages 7-17 for only $25 for the entire summer pool season. From 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, there are limited lanes for adult lap swim only at Municipal Pool. Pavilion Center Pool will remain closed while it is being enclosed, but is expected to open in fall 2010.
Lorenzi Adaptive Recreation Program (ages 7-21)
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through Aug. 13.
Fee: $70 per week; $65 per week for additional child from the same household.

The Lorenzi Adaptive Recreation Center provides recreational programming for youth of all abilities aged 7-21. Participants will enjoy a new recreation experience every week, community outings, sports, games, arts and crafts, swimming, movies, friends, and all around fun.
Paralympic Sports Club of Las Vegas Quad Rugby (ages 18+)

Summer Day Camps (ages 4-15)

The summer Leisure Guide, which has detailed information on each facility’s camps, classes, programs, special events, sports, workshops and activities, is available online at www.lasvegasparksandrec.com.
Financial assistance may be available to qualified applicants. Request an application at the camp site if financial assistance is needed. Youth will have fun and stay busy enjoying age-appropriate activities, including field trips, sports, special events, arts and crafts, nutrition, physical fitness and games, under the supervision of trained staff. The last day for camp varies according to site. Locations include:

Financial assistance may be available to qualified applicants. Request an application at the camp site if financial assistance is needed. This camp focuses on one sport each week. Participants learn the basic rules of each sport and talk about teamwork, sportsmanship, fitness and nutrition. Participants also play in a scrimmage game at the end of each week. The last day for summer camp varies according to site. The locations include:
