Las Vegas, Nevada--JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa was recently honored with two prestigious meeting awards, The Gold Key Award from Meetings & Conventions Magazine for the second year and the Platinum Choice Award from Smart Meetings for the third year in a row.
Meetings & Conventions’ Gold Key Award is presented to the finest meeting properties worldwide. Winners of this award of excellence are nominated and selected by the readers of Meetings & Conventions Magazine who base their votes on the property’s overall professionalism and quality. Selection is based on strict criteria, including: attitude of meeting staff, quality of meeting rooms, quality of guest services, quality of food and beverage service, proficiency of handling reservations, availability of technical support equipment and range of recreational facilities. Bestowed to only 75 resorts and hotels in the country, the Gold Key Award is equated with the highest standards of excellence for meetings held during the year.
Smart Meetings Platinum Choice Award is based on reader votes, naming the resort one of 100 top properties within the western region of The USA, Canada and Mexico. Votes are based on meeting planners overall experience while at the resort including reservations, quality of service, room amenities, food and beverage experience, meeting room excellence, technical support, services and resort amenities available and meeting staff expertise.
