City of Las Vegas Opens Class Registration Dec. 5 For Winter Session

Enrich Your Healthy Lifestyle With Arts, Fitness, Sports & Recreation Classes
With winter coming, plan to stay healthy and active at city of Las Vegas community centers, arts centers, community schools and Municipal Pool with arts, sports, fitness and exercise classes, fun family events, after-school programs, music, dance, educational workshops and leisure activities for all ages. Registration for the winter session classes will begin Saturday, Dec. 5, for classes that start in January.
Registration at the community centers, community schools and Municipal Pool continues through Jan. 8, for classes to be held Jan. 11 through Feb. 20. Registration for the Spring I session will be held Feb. 13 through 26 for classes March 1 through April 10. Spring break camp registration opens Feb. 8. Summer camp and aquatics registration opens Feb. 22.
Registration at the arts centers continues through Jan. 2, for classes that begin Jan. 4. Registration for the Spring I session will be held Feb. 8-20 for arts classes that begin Feb. 22. Available classes for the arts centers are listed in the Spring 2010 ArtQ. Classes at the other centers are listed in the January 2010 Leisure Guide class and activity schedule. Both publications are expected to be available online by Dec. 1, at www.lasvegasparksandrec.com. The ArtQ also may be picked up at arts centers in early December.
Call any of the following leisure centers for information, registration numbers and free class schedules. Save travel time by registering with a credit card online at www.clvbeyondtheneon.com, or by touchtone phone at (702) 229-5445, once you have Leisure Access and LeisureLink numbers. In addition, you will need the codes for camps, classes and activities for which you wish to register. Registration also will be available at all of the following locations. Hours vary by location.
