IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT APRIL mIXER
LAS VEGAS – April 12, 2010 – The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada has started a new division, Women In Performing Arts, Entertainment and Media (WIPAEM). The next meeting will be a mixer on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Exclusive Wealth Planning, 8540 S. Eastern Ave., #200, Las Vegas, Nev. 89123. Danette Tull, film resource coordinator for the Nevada Film Office, will be the guest speaker giving an update on the economy, an industry report from 2009-2011, and an outlook for incoming productions followed by a Q&A.
The new level for the chamber has been developed by the chamber’s founder June L. Beland, who was born and raised in the entertainment industry and has been part of the Women In Film and Media for more than 30 years. People who qualify for this level include women involved in media, entertainment, celebrities, producing, directing, casting, dance, modeling as well as celebrities, talent, etc.
The kickoff celebration for WIPAEM was held on Feb. 23, 2010, at the Bootlegger Bistro Italian restaurant and hosted by the Honorable Lorraine Hunt-Bono, who is an honorary board member. Other board members are June Beland, entertainment and celebrity publisher, costume designer Diana Eden, and actress Dee Drenta.
The meeting on April 20, which is being hosted by member Mary Kajoyan, CEO for Exclusive Wealth Planning, is free to members and $10 for non-members who pre-pay and are in the entertainment industry.
