Charleston Heights Arts Center Show Will Open Company’s 35th Season In Las Vegas
Rainbow Company Youth Theatre will open its 35th season with a production of the classic children’s story, “Charlotte’s Web.” Literature’s most remarkable spider never fails to fascinate and charm as she saves Wilbur the pig from an untimely demise. The show will be performed at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St., Oct. 7-16. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Oct. 7, 8, 14 and 15, with matinees at 2 p.m. Oct. 9, 15 and 16.
A cast of 25 young people and adults is directed by Karen McKenney, with Emmy Bartling as Charlotte, Violet Baldwin as Fern, Grace Jacobson as Wilbur and Martin Hart as Homer Zuckerman. Tickets, priced at $7 for adults, $5 for teens/seniors/military and $3 for children ages 12 and younger, may be purchased online at www.artslasvegas.org or by calling the box office at (702) 229-6383. The nationally recognized Rainbow Company Youth Theatre holds auditions, for both adults and young people, throughout the year. The award-winning staff offers classes in all aspects of theatre for ages 4 through high school at the Charleston Heights Arts Center. Four productions are produced annually that bring the magic of live theatre to family audiences. There also are spring break workshops and a summer conservatory.
