Easter Egg-Decorating Workshop March 27 For Children And Adults
Residents age 7 and older are invited to participate in an Easter egg-decorating workshop on Saturday, March 27, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave. Attendees will create personalized Easter eggs using several techniques. Enroll in Arts, Fitness, Sports And Recreation Classes For A Healthier Lifestyle
Enroll yourself and your family in one of the dozens of classes and activities offered by the city of Las Vegas at its cultural arts centers, community centers and community schools. There is a wide variety of healthy-lifestyle choices available, from sports leagues and exercise options to family fun events, educational workshops, after-school programs and leisure activities for all ages. Registration for the Spring II session classes at the arts centers will be held March 15-April 10 for classes that start the week of April 12.  Registration for Spring II activities at the community centers, community schools and Municipal Pool will be open April 3-16 for activities that begin the week of April 19. City of Las Vegas Opens Hualapai Canyon Trail March 27

Residents Invited for Opening Festivities And Narrated Nature Walk Along New Trail
Las Vegas residents are invited to the grand opening of the Hualapai Canyon Trail, set for Saturday, March 27, at 10 a.m. City of Las Vegas Ward 2 Councilman Steve Wolfson and others involved in the project will speak briefly at the opening before UNLV Professor of Geology Steve Rowland leads a narrated nature walk through the new trail. Everyone is invited to gather at the trailhead, located on the east side of Hualapai Way, north of Alta Drive. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

Councilman Steven D. Ross and the city of Las Vegas invite Las Vegas residents to celebrate spring at the multicultural festival in Ward 6 that will offer plenty of old-fashioned family fun. “The World in Your Backyard” multicultural festival will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, in Centennial Hills Park at 7101 N.
