Enroll yourself and your family in one of the dozens of classes and activities offered by the city of Las Vegas at its cultural arts centers, community centers and community schools. Residents Invited for Opening Festivities And Narrated Nature Walk Along New Trail
Las Vegas residents are invited to the grand opening of the Hualapai Canyon Trail, set for Saturday, March 27, at 10 a.m. City of Las Vegas Ward 2 Councilman Steve Wolfson and others involved in the project will speak briefly at the opening before UNLV Professor of Geology Steve Rowland leads a narrated nature walk through the new trail. Everyone is invited to gather at the trailhead, located on the east side of Hualapai Way, north of Alta Drive. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.
