LAS VEGAS - February 8, 2012 - What happens in Vegas eventually goes all around the world. That’s certainly been true for The Las Vegas Tenors. The singing trio, known for tight harmonies, powerful vocals and a diverse song selection has delighted audiences literally around the world. Fans in Italy, Greece, Kenya, Egypt and many other international locations can attest to their harmonic and high energy performances. Concertgoers across America have been just as enthusiastic.
The Las Vegas Tenors return to their city for a performance at the Cannery Casino on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 8 p.m.
The Las Vegas Tenors include original member and co-creator Bobby Black, Chris Riggins and Corwyn Hodge. One of the city’s most recognized musical groups since 2006, the Las Vegas Tenors have reformed and refined their performances to include musical styles of Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul, Swing, Country and Classical.

TWO BIG EVENTS, WHAT A NIGHT!
13th ANNUAL CANON CUSTOMER APPRECIATION RECEPTION

The 13th Annual Canon U.S. A. Customer Appreciation Star-Studded Reception was held Thursday, January 12 at the BELLAGIO’s Grand Ballroom. Elegantly dressed guests of the evening event enjoyed fine cuisine, live and silent auctions, musical entertainment and scores of celebrities.
This event, was sponsored by Canon U.S.A. Inc. and produced by John W. Arnos Sr., Canon U.S.A. and Jaki Baskow, Baskow & Associates and benefited the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC is a private non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides services nationwide for families and professionals in the prevention of abducted, endangered or sexually exploited children. Although this was the 13th Annual Canon Customer Appreciation Reception, Canon has been affiliated with NCMEC for 15 years.

Las Vegas—Blues-infused rock n’roll group The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band will bring their chart-topping sound to The Orleans Showroom March 17 and 18, each evening at 8 p.m.
Bandleader Kenny Wayne Shepherd began his career at a young age, sharing the stage with New Orleans legend Bryan Lee at 13 years old. Shepherd has since been listed among the top blues guitarists of all time by Guitar World magazine, along with legends B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

Las Vegas—On the heels of signing one of the most extraordinary rookie classes in team history, the Harlem Globetrotters will bring their 2012 World Tour to the Orleans Arena on Wednesday, February 15 at 7 p.m.
The outstanding rookies include Paul “Tin” Sturgess, the world’s tallest pro basketball player at 7 feet, 8 inches; Jonte “Too Tall” Hall, the shortest Globetrotter ever at 5 feet, 2 inches; and Fatima “TNT” Maddox of Temple University, the team’s first female player in nearly 20 years.
The new Globetrotters also feature the top three finishers from the 2011 College Slam Dunk Contest, including reigning champ Jacob “Hops” Tucker – who at 5 feet 10 inches, sports a 50-inch vertical leap. Tucker joins slam-dunk runner-up John “Jet”

Las Vegas—Celebrated rhythm and blues, soul and funk acts from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s will perform some of their best-loved hits at 105.7 The Oasis Valentine’s Love Affair at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Performing at this year’s event are The Manhattans, Heatwave, GQ, The Moments, Billy Paul, Gene Chandler, Barbara Mason, El Chicano and Ray, Goodman & Brown.
The Manhattans are perhaps best-known for their most popular love songs, including “Shining Star” and their No.1 hit from 1976, “Kiss and Say Good-Bye.”

Las Vegas—Award-winning country music group The Oak Ridge Boys will bring their decades of hits to The Orleans Showroom, February 25 and 26, each evening at 8 p.m.
The Oak Ridge Boys -- Richard Sterban, Duane Allen, Willam Lee Gordon and Joe Bonsall -- began as gospel singers in 1973, playing shows with Johnny Cash before signing their own record deal in 1975. The Oak Ridge Boys released their first album, “Y’All Come Back Saloon,” in 1976, and have since released more than 35 additional albums – 12 of which have been certified gold.
The group has charted more than 30 top 10 hits and a dozen No. 1 singles, including their crossover hit, “Elvira,” in 1981.

Las Vegas—Southern rock legends The Marshall Tucker Band roll into The Orleans Showroom for NASCAR weekend, March 9 and 10, each evening at 8 p.m.
The Marshall Tucker Band, originally founded by lead singer Doug Gray, got its start in Spartanburg, S.C. and debuted its first album in 1973.
