From the first chord to the final bow or curtsey, participants will be inspired by the driving reels, jaunty jigs, snappy strathspeys or lilting airs. This journey features singer/comedienne Richel Kompst and her school of walleye back-up singers and band members. The story is told through music and monologues featuring the Mistress of Ceremonies Olga Torkelson (flown in directly from the great fishing state of Minnesota) and a bevy of cameo performers, including Doris Day, Ann-Margret and the beloved Barbra Streisand. David Lindsay grew up in the San Francisco bay area. After high school, he lived in northern Italy for two years. Although his purpose was not to study art, he could not help but be influenced by the art and architecture of that country. The influence of Italian painting and architecture can be seen in his work, but in a combination that is unique and creative. His work has been exhibited all over the United States, as well as in Italy and Romania. He currently is working on projects for venues in Las Vegas, Texas, Germany and Italy.
