Roles Available For “Tom Sawyer” Oct. 5-14 Performances
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre will hold two important auditions in August. Auditions for the Student Ensemble will be held Saturday, Aug. 18. The Ensemble is an intensive training program for ages 10-17. Students learn all aspects of theatre, including technical theatre.
Auditions for “Tom Sawyer” will be held Aug. 25. Roles are available for ages 10 through adult. Both auditions will begin promptly at 1 p.m. at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, located at 800 S. Brush St. There is no fee to audition. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably in clothes that allow for movement. No prepared material is needed.
The nationally recognized Rainbow Company Youth Theatre holds auditions, for both adults and young people, throughout the year. The award-winning staff offers classes in all aspects of theatre for ages 4 through high school at the Charleston Heights Arts Center. Four productions are produced annually that bring the magic of live theatre to family audiences. The 2012-2013 season productions will include:
