Las Vegas Residents Invited To Celebrations, Luncheons & Activities At City Centers
The city of Las Vegas active adult and senior centers offer exercise, fitness, craft, arts, dance, music and computer classes; cards; games; discussion and social groups; luncheons; outings; sports; and special events Monday through Friday to residents age 50 and better. A listing of classes and activities is published quarterly in the Las Vegas Active Adult, available in the centers and online at
www.lasvegasparksandrec.com. All activities are subject to change. Most activities require $2 annual membership to city of Las Vegas Senior Citizen Programs.
Summer BBQ (ages 50+)
Friday, June 4, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advance registration required by June 3.
Fee: $4

Ice Tea Taste Testing (ages 50+)
Tuesday, June 8, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Advance registration required.
Fee: 25 cents

Enjoy a variety of ice teas, including sweet, black, green and raspberry, in unlimited supply.
Hank’s Skinner-burger Day (ages 50+)

Lei-Making Workshop (ages 50+)

Fee: $10, includes all supplies for making a fresh flower lei.
