LAS VEGAS - Kenny Chesney, Nashville's fastest rising star, will bring his electric stage show to the Las Vegas Hilton Theater on October 12 and 13 for one show each night at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office for $30, $40 and $50 and may be purchased by calling (702) 732-5755, or toll free (800) 222-5361.
The release of Kenny Chesney's Greatest Hits highlights another winning season for the platinum-selling singer and songwriter. During the spring and summer of 2000, Chesney performed for nearly half-a-million fans as a second-year member of George Strait's record-setting megatour.
At the most recent Fan Fair, Chesney repeatedly brought 20,000 country music enthusiasts to their feet with his emotionally explosive stage show. And while he was busy whipping concert audiences into a frenzy, the easy-going artist continued to be one of the favorite voices on country radio.
The 17 selections on Chesney's Greatest Hits bundle together all the rising star's number one and top five hits to date. In addition to 11 songs taken from a catalog that has now sold more than five million albums, the hits package also features six new songs, two of which are re-recorded versions of early album cuts that Chesney has popularized through his live shows.
Chesney is lauded by critics for his showmanship, vocal authority and song sense. In its review of his Fan Fair show, Country.com said, "There was nothing gimmicky about his performance. No between-songs chatter. No jokes. No histrionics. Just solid and animated singing. Much of the time, he was bending over or kneeling to touch the moving thicket of hands thrust up at him from the edge of the stage."
Don't miss the opportunity to catch country music's fastest rising star when Kenny Chesney takes the stage at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater October 12-13 at 9:00 p.m.
