Guests with entertainers

After that came the outstanding part of the event. Dr. Morton Hyson was introduced as M.C. along with pianist accompanist Joey Singer. This room was much more intimate than at the previous Holiday luncheons. This enabled the performers the ability to walk around and indulge themselves with guests at their tables while performing. This provided some hilarious and joyful moments.

Individual Soloists performed Opera, Christmas and Hanukkah songs such as White Christmas and Jerusalem, Broadway and other favorites. Some even acted and interacted with the audience as they sang. Lance Taubold started the performances singing Jingle Bell Rock as he hopped around the audience. Dr. Morton Hyson sang a Verdi Opera Aria, If I were a Rich Man from Fiddler on the Roof and Hava Nagila. Duchess Sylvia sang Beyond The Distant Star and a harmonious duet “The Prayer” with Joey Spinella. Sheronda Mckee and Joey Spinella individually sang Opera and other soloists Ben Litvinoff, Carrie Wachberger and Elaine Casale all sang superbly. The audience was very enthusiastic and also very animated.
