It doesn't get any better than this as we patiently anticipate the newest alternating residency and 5-time Grammy award winner, the one and only songstress, Shania Twain. Known as the first lady of country music, Shania will be starting her 2 year stay on December 1st 2012 for the first two weeks with more alternating dates thereafter. She is said to be Country music's best selling female country artist of all time with over 75 million albums sold worldwide. The theme of her show" Still The One" is named after her 1998 hit from one of her most sucessful album's, " Come on Over". In 1999 she was the first non US citizen to win the CMA award and Entertainer of the Year award.

She was born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and grew up in a small city in a very wintery town called Timmins, in mid-northern Ontario. Growing up with very little and a lot of family struggles Shania found music as a means of comfort and developed herself at the tender age of 13. She kept herself going through the 80's with gigs throughout Canada as she rose fast with the recognition of a number of talent scouts observing that she would someday be a star. Tragedy struck her family back in 1987 as both her parents died together in a car accident that left her to take care of her younger siblings. She did such with singing at a nearby Resort. Into the 90s stardom found her as Shania's talents just could no longer be bottled up in Ontario alone and her gifted voice could be heard globally. Her life today is shared with a special someone her second husband, Frederic Thiebaud whom she married on New Year's Day 2011 in a romantic Caribbean ceremony and life is getting better and better for this country music great as Las Vegas waits with much excitement for December 2012 for her most welcomed arrival. Shania, YOU are still the one and we love ya for it!
