Spent the first 2 nights at the Ogden House across from the El cortez downtown. Room was clean, comfortable and cheap, besides I only slept for a few hours and grabbed a couple of showers. Spent most of the two days playing slots at the El Cortez, Freemont, Horseshoe, Las Vegas Club, Golden Nugger and others. By far the El Cortez had the loosest but a fast hit for $640 at the Horseshoe was great as was the $640 hit at the Freemont after only 30 minutes.

Spent the next 3 days at New York, New York and visiting the strip casinos. Saw a lot of winning at Excaliber but no luck there for me. Bellagio fountain show if a must see. Venitian slots were the tightest we found. Earthquake aftershock was exciting and was glad to hear the NY, NY was built for an 8.0. MGM cocktail waitress said early morning hits were frequent on the Elvis slots and she was right, they were hitting for myself and others at 5am.

Best hit of the trip was on the spin-the-wheel slots in front of the cashier's cage at NYNY. 2 of us hit the FastHit 7's for a cool $1000 each. Almost covered up our other mistakes.
