For those of you who have never stayed at the IP, it's not the best place I've ever stayed, but for the Money you get a great location convenient to all the places you want to go.
The wife didn't complain too much but she wasn't paying, anyway!
Didn't eat there so nothing to report on. Next door, at Harrah's, had a nice Steak-place that wasn't bad and a buffet that was ok. Had a great Steak dinner at Circus Circus - The Steak House. Not what we imagined. A real circus on the outside, but a refined, cozy, upscale Steak-house on the inside. Not cheap, though.
Buffet at the Luxor wasn't very good, but we got there for a late lunch. Left-over food is never any good.
Chin Chin, at NY, NY was very good Asian food. I loved the layout of the casino. Reminded me a lot of the real New York.
Couldn't find the Canal at The Venetian. Then found out it was on the 2nd floor! A must see. The wife dragged me onto the Gondola, but it was enjoyable.
The wife wanted to see Celine Dion so she went with some friends. She wasn't strong enough to drag me in. Sorry, Celine! Did I mention the $150 tickets!
Spent a portion of our stay Downtown. Had some luck at Binions. Had a dinner at the steak-place on their top-floor. Nice food. Great view of "The Strip" at night.
The wife did a lot of shopping. I think I'll leave her at home, next time.
Overall, we enjoyed the trip. Maybe next time, stay at the MGM or NY, NY. Looked like fun places.
