Once again the trip has come & gone & here is what we did. Flew out SW which was uneventful & ontime, car pickup was a breeze as always. Did the $20 thing at check in at got a GO room on the 26 floor overlooking the GO pool & the other pools. Our first day there Marie Osmond was signing dolls at the Gift Shop, quite the crowd, she was very pleasant & quite beautiful. It was also Kentucky Derby day which meant the Sports Book was packed & high energy. We hung around the Casino playing slots with no returns, Flamingo can be hit or miss, other guests told us the week before it was loose with lots of good hits, go figure we missed it. Dinner that evening was our annual Ellis Island steak dinner ($6.95)which was good as usual. Afterward we headed over to M Resort, nice place, we had a few small hits, best thing is the self service soft drinks. Then back to Flamingo & retired early ( long day traveling). Sunday we headed to the Pool as temps were in the mid to high 90's all week, played some killer Volleyball & got burnt, the Pool was a blast! Headed to Wynn's for the Buffet then on to Encore for a little slot play with a few hits.

We always like Mirage & Bellagio slots, so off we went & hit numerous $200 & $300 amounts. Monday we started at Peppermill for breakfast then back to the Pool for more fun! That night we headed to Mirage where we sat next to a couple who were playing a progressive machine with their free play & hit for $84,000. They were in shock! Back at the Bellagio my wife played a 25 cent machine for hours cashing out $1000 when she was finished, nice ending to the night.

Tuesday, Blueberry Hill restaurant on Flamingo Road for breakfast & back to the Pool, more Volleyball, more sun & then quit early to get ready for dinner & to see Cher. Ate at Joe's Seafood in the Forum(pricy but excellent) then off to see Cher, great show! She sounded great. Wednesday, back to the pool after breakfast, it was 98 degrees tried to stay in the pool most of the time to keep cool & you guessed it, more Volleyball. Our burnt bodies were tanned by this point, so it wasn't too bad in the sun. That evening we went to Red Rock & hit $1000 on a CashWheel slot. Thursday we decided to take the day off from the Pool & go Casino hopping. We started out at Terrible's for a Slot tourney or so we thought, it was quite lame, then off to Eastside Cannery. As we walked in I pointed out a Double Diamond machine to my wife for her to play, in went a 20 & 3 spins later, Jackpot,$1600. Nice start, we played a while more then on to Sam's Town, Hard Rock & Tuscany. Dinner was a great Barbeque at Ellis Island then we went to LOVE, second time we seen it but every bit as good as the first. Friday, back to the Pool (crowded) to wind down our week, afterward we went to the Rio Seafood Buffet, which was a major disappointment!!!! Seafood choice was very limited. Then we decided to spent the last night at Mirage playing slots.

We found a Super Blazing 7 slot & decided to play it, 5 spins later, Jackpot, $2100. All week I played VP with no luck, no 4 OAK at all, they were tight. $1 slots kept us going all week. Saturday, was departure day, breakfast, pack, play a little slots then return the car, we stopped at the Vegas sign for a picture, Elvis was there in a 1956 Pink Cadillac for a wedding, so I got his picture, after some persuasion, then off to the airport. Out flight mormally is 5 hours but for some strange reason we made it back in 3 hours & 45 minutes, which was great, thanks tailwind! Our week had it's highs & lows but as always it was a GREAT time! We seen Holly Madison, Marie Osmond & I got Dizzle from H & H Tattoo Parlor to autograph a T shirt I bought.

Our room was comped for the week which was nice & the car was $175.
Viva Las Vegas! Can't wait to return! Good luck to anyone going!
