Here goes...first report...me (44 single, professional female & lovin' it!) & mom (68

married, professional & lovin' it!) My third visit in 3 years, her second visit in 45 years...

Stayed at the Paris all five nights with Friday night double booked at The Palazzo to see
that end of the strip without having to move all our stuff...frickin' brilliant plan! Rental car
from Dollar...$99 for 4 of the 5 days...highly recommend renting a car.

$20 sandwich at midnight check-in at Paris (Wednesday night) worked like a charm. Had
booked five nights (Wed-Mon...comp/comp/$40/$60/comp) in a regular room. Upgraded
(free) to the red room w/2 beds with great view of fountains, mountains, tower, pool &
strip (room 2821)...awesome! Say what you want about HET, but it works for me! I'm a
pretty low roller...roullette/craps exclusively @ about $300/night gambling budget.

Paris- room smallish, but fine for 2 adults. Didn't like the shampoo/conditioner supplied
(bought new at CVS-no biggie). Maid service was fine (tipped $5/night). No real
complaints...loved the view! Pool was fine--nothing fancy. Water was VERRRRY cold,
though.

Palazzo- room...incredible. We were upgraded to the Bella at the $119 rate. Had view of
the mountains and golf course...amazing! The room was impeccable. We just really
enjoyed it. I had booked it so that we could wander around that end of the strip for an
evening...we just loved that! The pools were great...though shaded until noon or so. One
pool gets sun at about 10-ish and it creeps over from there. The service at the pool was
amazing...even had a gentleman walking around giving out chilled hand towels...loved
that!

Restaurants...
Nine Fine Irishmen, NYNY-great ambience, very "Irish". Very friendly service. Nice cold
beer. Food was great...had brie stuffed chicken breast. Mom had fish n' chips. We both
enjoyed our dishes very much. ($85 w/2 drinks)
Mon Ami Gabi, Paris - what can I say? Always my favorite! Had steak roquefort...LOVED it!
Mom had seared salmon, which she also loved. Excellent, friendly service as well. ($130
w/2 drinks).
Woo, Palazzo - an interesting experience. I loved the food and the service was great. I
felt the restaurant was very "mall-ish"...just a weird vibe I got for what should be a fancier
place, maybe? Or, maybe it's just me...who knows. The food was fabulous, though! ($120
w/4 drinks).
Olives, Bellagio - the food was not my "cup of tea", but Mom LOVED it! We shared three
dishes...crab cake, chicken sausage flatbread, ricotta raviolli & Falling Chocolate Cake for
dessert. ($130 w/2 drinks) The food was very well-prepared, just not my preference.
Great ambience and wonderful service as well.

Site-seeing...
Red Rock Canyon...amazing!
Lake Las Vegas...absolutely DEAD!!! Unbelievable...yikes!
Lake Mead...very cool...didn't do the dam...needed to move on...

Gambling...
won lots, but gave it all back...always play the basket, folks!!!
Roullete, mostly- won $500 at Wynn, $200 at Palazzo, $150 at Bellagio, $250 at Bill's,
$100 at NYNY and $300 at Paris...lost most of it back at Paris & Bally's (got KILLED at
Bally's). Lost about $300 at craps at Paris & Palazzo (why do I even play craps???).

Had a great time...won $150 in the airport & got bumped to 1st class on a later flight
w/$300 travel voucher on Delta on the way home...ended with a win!
Can't wait to go back!
Thanks for all the reports!
