I love to check this site before each vegas trips for ideas. Thanks to all of you who take the time to write. Here are my "must see and do's while in vegas."
You MUST get an American Casino Guide before you go. Organize your coupons before you go. We saved soo much money and made soo much money using the match play coupons. We bought 2 books so we each could use a coupon.
One of the coupons is for Ellis Island, you sign up for a players card, 24 hours later you get 5.00 off dinner. We came back the next day and got the famous 6.99 steak, potato, salad and beer dinner, it cost us 4.00!!! The b.b.q. at Ellis Island was amazing. We used a buy one get one free coupon- 2 racks of ribs for 14.00 total. Delicious!!
Using the free 15.00 at Palazoo, 10.00 at Hardrock and 10.00 at ElCortez brought my husband and I winnings!!
Staying at the Golden Nugget was nice, next time I would stay at the
Fitzgeralds again since you only sleep there. The Nuggets pool was closed one day for a private party- Very disappointing!!!
My husband and I were both winners especially at 4 Queens playing video poker by the Keno area, and many of the videopoker games at Terribles.
Can't wait to go back!!
Wow what a trip!!!! Where do I start??
I bought 2 American Casino books before we left so my husband and I could both use the match play coupons.
We used Palazo, Palms, Ellis Island, Terribles. El Cortez, Plaza, and probably a few more. Some were free play
and some were match play, what can I say, we walked away very ahead...we were lucky!!
Used the 2 for 1 cave man ticket to see Gordy Brown, he was great, very entertaining!!
Used the Tickets 4 tonite booth for Defending the Cave Man- kind of a dumb show- Oh well.
Saw "Love" at the Mirage-using an e-mail sale, buy 1 get one for 25.00- amazing!!!
I wish we could have eaten more, we are not big people- haha!!
Used coupons for- Main Street Buffet that I got online
Ellis Island was my favorite!!! Had the steak special and went back for the buy one get one free rack of ribs the next night-delicious!
Enjoyed their margaritas and my husband loved the beers
Went to the Seafood buffet but they no longer serve lobster tails, only very tiny rock lobster, so we decided to go to Harrahs Buffet.
It was free since we had saved up points using our card here in Omaha!!!! What a deal!
Valet parking was the way to go. My husband knows the area and it made things smooth,.
We love downtown for the cheap gambling. My husband liked playing poker at El Cortez, and I liked Black Jack and video poker.
We were winners!! I hit 4 aces and a kicker at 4 Queens and my husband hit a royal flush at Terribles- too bad it was only for nickels!
But hey we still won!!!
My college age son turns 21 in November, my husband plans to take him in December. I will have to wait until February-but that's ok!
Thanks for all of your ideas, they really paid off for us!!!
