We arrived at The M around 3pm and was immediately impressed with the beautiful entrance and lobby area. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. We were given a room on the 12th floor with a strip view. As we entered the room, the view was magnificent from the floor to ceiling glass wall. Our room featured a king size pillow top bed which was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in at a hotel. A 42 inch LCD TV was mounted above the desk directly in front of the bed. There was also a fully stocked mini bar which by the way is automated. We made the mistake of taking some of the bottle of waters out to make room for our own bottle water and at checkout was surprised to see a charge for the missing items. They gladly reversed the charges when I told them the items were put back and they said it happens all the time. In the bathroom was a huge shower with a separate soaking tub, double vanity sinks with a LCD TV embedded in the mirror and a private toilet with a door. The room was by far the most luxurious standard room we stayed in. The casino is good sized not overwhelming and not too small. Located on two sides of the casino are self service refreshment centers where you can help yourself to various sodas and juices. Of course cocktail waitress are there to provide you with beer, wine and liquor. The Studio B buffet was excellent and rivals any buffet offered on the strip, a added bonus is beer and wine is included with the buffet. We waited for about one hour and 10 minutes to get in the Sunday Seafood buffet, but the next day we only waited about 10 minutes to get in the regular dinner buffet. Our overall experience at The M was fantastic! We had a great time there and would highly recommend The M!
