First time leaving a trip report but been there too many times to count. Flew SW out barely made flight thanks to Philly Int. new security gates.(12 lines to handle all airlines but only 4 open.) Arrived LV on time and limo waiting. The Riviera treats even the modest gambler quite well. After about an hour of feeding poker machines went across the street to Slots of Fun to see my favorite bartender Brian. While waiting for him to start, hit 4 deuces on a Deuces Wild. Later on returned at the end of his shift and hit 4 deuces again on bar machine. After collecting I decided to switch to $1 deuces wild. Yes 4 again but this time for $1000. That was enough for one day time for bed.
Decided to head down to Encore with my Mom in law. Put $200 in Wizard of Oz wicked witch machine with no luck. So I slid across to Glinda the good witch and on 1st try A huge pink bubble appeared, along with $600+. So I cashed out and tried the slot machine that just has monetary values on it. Put a hundred in got down to $55 and decided one more try and I would just take the $50 loss.To my surprise the first block that comes up says $500. Ok cash out time to leave with my money.
Friday we stayed at Riviera to build up points. Playing A multi denominational VP hit 4 eights for $1250. Then hit 4 aces with the kicker for $4000 on same machine.
Friday nite headed to Southpoint(once again limo service) to see the Lettermen. Great show!
Last day went to check out and everything was comped out. Even our $200 desert and champagne splurge.
This was one of the best trips ever. The Riviera knows how to treat their guests. Already booked for Septenber!
