CELEBRATING OUR 22ND ANIVERSARY TOOK A FLIGHT FROM INDIANAPOIS TO LAS VEGAS, PLANE WAS ON TIME as usual with Southwest. Landed LV at 7:30am and at Harrahs hotel 30 minutes later. Host had set-up a suite on the 32nd floor overlooking the strip, she sent us a fruit tray to our room, as well as dinner for 2 at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Meal was outstanding and staff was more than helpful. The Manager brought us over a piece of cake with a candle in it and happy anniversary strussel in chocolate on the plate for us .
After dinner we decided to play the slots for awhile and it was good we did. Hubby hit a hand pay for $2016 on a penny machine on a $2 bet. wifey put in 20.00 after three 1 dollar spins on the penny machine wifey hit a 520.00 jackpot
Day two: we had tickets for defending the caveman at Harrah's at 7 PM - we will give it a "C". We thought it was a play but it was just someone telling jokes. Left there and went to see what they were doing at "The Quad", formerly the Imperial Palace, as part of the Linq Project. We will say that the new look will be outstanding once they finish with it. They are almost complete with setting up the legs on the giant wheel being built behind Harrah's. Can't wait to see the finished project. We rented a car to make it easy to go shopping and visiting off the strip hotel casinos. Went over to the Rio and lost as usual, it seems that we never win over there.
Hubby got up the next morning and went down for coffee and to play slots. Played the China Shores Boosted Wins and Spins and hit 480 free spins and walked away with $750 on a .90 cent bet. Went down town to see what was new and happening there with all the updates we were reading about. Nothing was complete as of yet, but we did play a few games of slots and lost .. We went into Mermaids casino downtown as well, not knowing that they still use coins. I cashed out a $40 hit and it all came out as nickels, "surprise". I forgot how dirty and nasty your hands get while scooping the coins up, we will not do that again. Go to the mermaids casino rest room in this place at your own risk, with the amount of money I am sure they bring in they need to invest money in the bathrooms as they are worse than a 1800's outhouse.
Sunday morning we went to see the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor which wasn"t bad at all. Return to Harrah's and turned in the car and back to slot machines for a little action. Sunday turned out to be a good day as Hubby and I got mini-hit after mini-hit and cashed out nearly $2000 more in less than 2 hours $$$$$$$$$$$.

Overall, this was one of the best trips to Vegas we have had out of the 15 years or so that we have been going each year. We will more than likely return in September or October.
    1. Suite at Harrah's was large, nice and clean. House keeping was super
    2. Host: Our host was the best we have ever had in all of our years of having one. She took care of everything and made it easy for us to enjoy ourselves.
    3. Food was fantastic at Ruth's Chris, but not so good at harrahs buffet.
    4. Slots: Big Wins
    5. Downtown looks better
    6. Shows: CAVEMAN "C" Rating this trip
    7. Southwest: "A+"
