First time for a visit to Vegas for my wife and I. Arrived at the NYNY hotel around 4:40 pm. Check in was smooth, but was disappointed that we was not offered assistance with our luggage upon arrival. Our stay there was outstanding, as we had a great time. Highlights was "The Bar @ Times Square" and Cayote Ugly. We ate at Chin Chin there at the hotel and did not enjoy it much. Food was average and not on the cheap. Recommend going to the Buffet at the Monte Carlo (next door)and @ the MGM. Food is superb and well worth the expense.
The only negative of our trip was getting back to the airport. Upon arrival to the airport, we bought round trip ticket with the Shuttle service called Airport Limo Corp (ALC). We got on the bus and was at the hotel within 30 mins. As we were told, call them 24 hours prior to leaving to schedule a pick up at the hotel. I tried to do that and got nothing but frustration. I called their number 24 hours prior and was on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and went to eat. Went back to the room at 10:00 am and called the number again. Was again on hold for 15 minutes and finally someone answered the phone. I scheduled a pick up for us for the next day at 7:50 am. We had been waiting since 7:30 and at 8:00 am, the shuttle still did not show. I called ALC and the Lady stated we were not on the list to be picked up. I could believe it, as I even gave the lady specifics on who I spoke with and details of the scheduled pick up. She would not dispatch a someone to pick us up, but we had to wait another 20 minutes for the next scheduled pick up at 8:20. Guess what???, 8:20 came and no shuttle. At 8:30, I called ALC and said we are still waiting, where is the shuttle? The Lady said one will be there soon. The shuttle finally did show up a few minutes later. From what I saw at the airport, there are three shuttle services and hopefully, the other two are more reliable than the one we used. Next trip we will spend theextra $10 and take a cab to the airport. Lesson learned.
All in all, we had a great trip!
