1881 Marked the beginning of one of the largest silver
strikes in California history and the birth of Calico. This authentic silver mining town lives on as one of the few original mining camps of the Old West.
Today Calico is part of the San Bernardino County Regional Parks system visited by people from around the country and all over the world. The park offers visitors an opportunity to share in its rich history and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding desert environment. Along with its history and attractions, Calico Ghost Town has shops,restaurants and offers camping and outdoor recreation not available at most of our other park facilities.

for adults, $3.00 for youth and free for children 5
& under. South on I-15 about 2 1/2 hours from Las Vegas. Exit I-15 at Ghost Town Rd.
