From the ground to the top of the tallest cabin, The High Roller tops out at 550 feet, making it the world's tallest observation wheel. It is 107 feet taller than the London Eye.
The slow moving High Roller illuminates it's 2,000-LED system lights every sunset with a colorful display of dazzle. The transparent spherical passenger cabins are individually turned by electric motors to keep the floor horizontal throughout each 30-minute rotation. This style of passenger car is usually referred to as a passenger capsule, but in High Roller's case the term passenger cabin is also widely used. Each cabin holds up to 40 people and a total of 28 cars offers a 30-minute ride per every 1,120 passengers. Each 225 square food cabin weighs 44,000 pounds and is equipped with 8 flat screen televisions and an iPod dock. A must do on your next visit!
